Block 3 is finished!!
Block 3 was originally constructed in the 1980s and after 30 years of students coming through its doors was overdue for an upgrade.
At the end of term two, the Block 3 Renovation Project kicked off!
Walls were torn down, floors ripped up and ceilings demolished. In their place, double glazed glass sliders were inserted and windows installed where walled-off spaces once existed. All the other Blocks are jealous of our air conditioning. Keeping us warm in winter and cool in summer. All of the benches and cabinets have been replaced also.
As you can see in the before and after photos, these renovations have made extensive changes. Block 3 now looks like an Innovative Learning Environment. It is not long now until we get to see the finished project and everyone can’t wait to move back in.
