The mid-year academic reports will be sent home tomorrow, Friday 30 June. The reports will detail your child’s progress in the year to date.

It is important that these reports are kept in a safe place, especially for Year 8 students who will be asked for them when enrolling at secondary school next term!!

As you know, we will be holding an Adidas School Fun-Run as a major fundraising event this year. The event will be held next Friday 7 July at 12.40pm in the school grounds.  The Adidas School Fun-Run is a healthy, fun and active fundraiser that ensures we send the right message to our students about getting active, having fun and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The main focus of this event is on participation. Family support is most appreciated as we encourage all students to get involved. All students have received a Sponsorship Form to help collect sponsorship on behalf of the school. The funds raised will be used to purchase school sports equipment.

We would like to invite parents and family members to attend the Adidas School Fun Run at the school next Friday 7 July, to support and cheer on our students.  If you would like to volunteer and help out on the day, please contact the school on 410 7805.

Next Wednesday, 5 July, we are holding our “Dancing Like Stars” competition in the school hall commencing at 12.45pm.  This has become an annual event and is a wonderful opportunity for students to show off the dancing skills they have gained from their lessons.   Jonny Williams will be compering the show and students are asked to dress up as glamorously as possible.  Certificates and prizes will be awarded to the winning dance couples and the best dressed couples.  The entry fee is $5.00 each.  Parents are most welcome to come along and support the students for a gold coin donation.
