LEADERSHIP AWARD
At our assembly last week Naimah Lawal received the Sir Peter Blake Young Leader Award for Wairau Intermediate. The Sir Peter Blake Young Leader programme celebrates outstanding young leaders who show promising leadership (teamwork, passion, commitment) in their schools and communities.
Sir Peter Blake believed in the incredible potential of young kiwis to achieve great things and the Young Leader Award celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding leadership through qualities and characteristics such as:
– Integrity
– Determination and the will to succeed
– Good team builder, leader and member
– Hard working and know how to have fun
